Introducing David Garcia, the Executive Chef of Eddie & Vinny’s Coastal Italian. A Los Angeles native with over a decade of culinary expertise, David has dedicated his career to mastering the art of Italian cuisine, blending time-honored traditions with fresh, innovative approaches.
David’s culinary journey began in the vibrant food scene of Pasadena, CA, where he honed his skills in some of the area’s most renowned kitchens. Immersed in the rich culinary diversity of Los Angeles, David developed a deep appreciation for bold flavors, seasonal ingredients, and the artistry of Italian cooking. From perfecting handmade pastas to crafting creative interpretations of regional specialties, his experiences in Pasadena shaped the chef he is today.
David’s story with P Hospitality began in 2016 at Tavolino Della Notte, where he played a pivotal role in the restaurant’s success until 2019. Now, he returns to the very space that once housed Tavolino, bringing his passion and precision to Eddie & Vinny’s, a concept that reimagines coastal Italian dining with elevated ingredients and bold flavors.
During his tenure at Prezzo, David was instrumental in crafting menus that delighted guests across both locations, building a reputation for excellence and creativity. His leadership and dedication to quality have earned him this exciting promotion to helm Eddie & Vinny’s, where he’ll continue to push culinary boundaries while honoring the rich traditions of Italian cuisine.
Outside the kitchen, David’s greatest inspiration comes from his family. His wife, Sara, and their three children—Bella, Tristan, and Harlee—share his love for food and the joy it brings to life. Whether experimenting with new recipes at home or mentoring the next generation of chefs, David brings heart and soul to everything he does.
